Daisy discovered breathwork five years ago during a period of extreme stress, including the escalation of her daughter’s severe epilepsy and her dad’s death. After a shamanic breathwork session helped her connect early experiences of fear and anxiety with her current situation, she started to approach her mental, physical and emotional health in a new light.
A couple of years later, she found Rebirthing and the Buteyko Method. Functional breathwork and conscious connected breathing have helped her manage life’s challenges and to rediscover a sense of peace, joy and childlike wonder. Daisy will qualify with AIR School of Breathwork in May 2025 and is in the process of receiving certification from the Buteyko Clinic International. She is passionate about sharing the transformative power of the breath. Daisy’s background is in writing, journalism and charity campaigning. She has found breathwork helpful in accessing creativity and flow states. Daisy has a late diagnosis of ADHD and is fascinated by the mind-body connection.
Grief, inter-generational trauma, early life experiences, neurodiversity and chronic illness are areas of particular interest. Daisy lives in Hove and works from her garden studio, with space for individual and small group breathes and a free-standing bath for warm water rebirthing sessions.
